CS type dehydrator has a compact construction in comparision to a belt press dehydrators and dehydrates sludge by combining gravity suction dehydration and specialized pressure dehydration. For the lead process, gravity suction dehydration is performed by the vacuum hopper's suction on the bottom of the filter cloth, afterward in the next process, the water content in the cake can be greatly reduced by performing powerful dehydration under high pressure using the specialized pressure belt. The filtrate in the gravity suction dehydrator section is collected in the recycle tank, it once more passes through a pump and is circulated for use in the filter cloth wash. This recycle tank and suction blower are contained inside the frame. The filter cloth connection utilizes a special joint so that it is exchangeable in a short time and can be easily attached and removed.
